Dina Asher-Smith has teamed up with Barbie, unveiling her own Shero doll 'inspiring the next generation of young women', following in the footsteps of Adwoa Aboah and Nicola Adams.
Barbie is highlighting female role models from around the world in 2020, in a bid to close the 'dream gap' - 'a phenomenon where young girls are said to start believing women are less capable than men', and the British sprinter commented 'I’m so proud to have my own one-of-a-kind Dina Barbie doll. It’s an honour to work with Barbie as a "Shero" and work together to inspire future champions'.
